About Alan
Alan has worked for JDP for over 16 years, previously being a credit controller here. Born in Montrose in Scotland he was raised in Oxfordshire.
He plays the drums in a band and is also a singer in another band, as well as having his own act as a solo singer!

What's the best thing about your job?
The people I work with. We do get on very well, and we do have a laugh, which gets you through the day.
Who would play you in a movie of your life?
George Clooney (obvz)
What’s your biggest achievement?
Building my own Pizza Oven. It took me about 6 months; evenings and weekends. Amazingly 6 years on it’s still standing.
How do you feel about putting pineapple on pizza?
I feel fine thanks, so long as there is some ham to go with it. I have made a sweet pizza with pineapple, banana, peanut butter, chocolate chips and crushed nuts. (Don’t knock it ‘til you’ve tried it).
What’s your favourite ice cream flavour?
There has to be 2. There’s a great ice cream Parlour just outside Penrith where they have Jersey cows. The 2 scoop Pistachio/Cherry combo takes some beating.
