About Ben
Ben's role as a Data Analyst means he works on monthly and weekly reports and also finds himself in the commercial world assisting our Commercial manager Martin Joyce.
He has a degree in Business Mathematics from LJM University and was born in St. Helens.
Q&A
What's the best thing about your job?
Probably the same answer as most people, the variety of the job and getting to see all aspects of the business.
What’s your biggest achievement to date?
Running 10 half marathons in 10 months for charity 6 years ago. My wife, 4 friends & I raised £15k for Eden Valley Hospice in memory of my wife’s mum dying of cancer.
What was your favourite subject at school?
PE was always good and in 6th form I was always a fan of free periods!!
What do you like to do on your days off?
Sport. I play cricket in the summer and attempt to play golf all year round whilst trying to bike and run as much as I can. I’ll watch most sports going and have successfully brain washed my 3 year old boy into asking to watch sport instead of cartoons. My Christmas comes in March when Cheltenham races in on!
If you could be any age for one week, what would that age be?
Not sure about age but if I could go back in time I’d make sure St Helens rugby didn’t lose 5 (YES 5) grand finals in a row!
