About Brenda
Brenda is one of JDP’s longest serving employees having worked here for a combined total of over 30 years! Throughout her time here she has held various positions from accounts processing, to IT training, she’s pretty much covered nearly every job role there is at JDP! She also started the infamous Head Office tuck shop in 2008 which has since raised £15,000 for various charities!
In charge of both the Stock Control team and the Supply Chain team she oversees making sure all branches have necessary stock available, building supplier relationships and negotiating cost prices.

What's the best thing about your job?
The buzz and feeling of achievement when you negotiate the best possible cost prices from suppliers to buy stock and help win orders, and having a happy and productive workforce.
What’s your biggest achievement to date?
Bringing up my daughters to be lovely, happy, healthy young ladies (I think!).I have also ran many 5k’s for race for life and 10k, I have also recently completed a 5.3km tyre flip with a 60kg tyre!
What’s your TV show guilty pleasure?
Drama Premiers (particularly based on true stories), and dare I say Coronation Street and X Factor!
When you were little, what did you want to be when you grew up?
I wanted to be an athlete! I was involved in many sports at school and competed regionally for the school.
What’s your favourite ice cream flavour?
Vanilla
