About Martin
Leaving education Martin worked for his family's contracting business which involved installing many of the products JDP now sell. Not shying away from the dirty work, he would stand out in fields installing septic tanks, land drain and twinwall pipes!
Martin started his JDP career as a branch supervisor on the Isle of Wight (aka The Island) where he is originally from. He made the move north to Head Office in Longtown in 2006.

What is your team responsible for?
The Business Development team are responsible for bringing new product and market opportunities for growth, which includes approvals, training and some customer visits/selling.
The marketing team are responsible for supporting each sales channel in their customer growth and sales growth aims. As well as the most exciting development currently in view; ecommerce and digital content to ensure JDP can offer a universal customer experience no matter how customers wish to interact with JDP and at any time of day.
Who would play you in a movie of your life?
Surely, it’s Matt Damon?!
If you could do another job for just one day, what would it be?
Fighter pilot.
If you had to live in a different country where would it be?
Italy.
What’s your biggest achievement to date?
Without sounding corny….my family give me the proudest moments. Moving 400 miles with 3 children under 6 was no walk in the park!
