What a great start to the year! Our JDP Ashford Branch are the first of our 26 branches to achieve FORS Silver accreditation.
FORS is a fleet operator recognition scheme which aims to raise the level of quality within fleet operations and to demonstrate with operators are achieving exemplary level of best practice in safety, efficiency and environmental protection.
FORS Silver standard involves supplying evidence to meet a further 8 sections, on top of already retaining the Bronze 32 Sections of the FORS standard.
We had supply evidence of: our operation improvements, evidence of audible warning and blind spot minimisation plus vulnerable road users training, fleet performance data, fuel emissions and managing work related road risk.
The Ashford team participated in lots of training, along with Ben, our data analyst, producing fantastic data collating, to help us achieve this accreditation!
Jayne Bar our Transport Supervisor commented “Our FORS journey to Silver accreditation has transformed our business into an industry pace setter and a leader in fleet transport best practice. The FORS standard instils a mind-set of continual improvement, joining an elite group of operators that boast exemplary levels of safety, efficiency and environmental awareness. I look forward to working with the other 25 branches on their Sliver journey in 2019.”
