Features & Benefits
RELIABLE
DYKA UNDERGROUND pipes and fittings meet the highest quality standards, ensuring compliance and safety. Pipework is certified (Kitemarked) to BS EN 13476-2, and fittings are certified (kitemarked) to BS EN 1401-1.
DURABLE
The DYKA UNDERGROUND drainage system is strong, long-lasting, and resistant to corrosion. It is manufactured from a mix of virgin and recycled PVC-U for the pipes and virgin PVC-U for the fittings.
VERSATILE
DYKA UNDERGROUND SN8-rated 110mm pipes are available in 3m or 6m lengths, while the SN4-rated 160mm pipes are available in 6m lengths, offering a cost-effective solution for non-adopted projects.
COMPATIBLE
The DYKA UNDERGROUND drainage system seamlessly connects to other DYKA systems, such as AXEDO Inspection Chambers and ULTRA3 Adoptable Sewer Pipes & Fittings, for added flexibility.
EASY INSTALLATION
The DYKA UNDERGROUND fittings utilise a push-fit system, which, with light lubrication, ensures quick and efficient installation.
DYKA UNDERGROUND fittings also benefit from a DIN chamber seal type that provides a reliable and secure connection.
HANDLING
Take extra care when handling PVC pipes in cold weather. Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including gloves, a hard hat, and safety footwear.
If bundles of DYKA UNDERGROUND pipes need to be removed with machinery, use nylon belt slings or forklifts with smooth forks, and avoid using metal hooks or chains, as these can damage the pipes.
COST-EFFECTIVE
DYKA UNDERGROUND110mm pipes are plain-ended, offering excellent value for money, especially for projects requiring multiple cuts and short sections.
The 160mm pipes are socketed, making them ideal for longer runs where they are laid pipe to pipe, ensuring a secure and efficient installation.
STORAGE
Always store DYKA UNDERGROUND pipes on a flat, stable surface away from potential hazards to prevent damage. Bundles of pipes can be stacked up to three high without additional support.
Caution is needed when removing pipes from bundles as the tight straps may fail when cut.
For optimal storage, separate pipes of different sizes. If this isn't possible, larger pipes should be placed beneath smaller ones.
